Supported Living

Supportive Living provides cost-effective, affordable, residential living and support services for 16 to 65-year-olds and older and need assistance. Supportive Living residents can live affordably and independently in an environment where personal choice, dignity, privacy and individuality are emphasised. Supported living allows you to live independently and have control over how and when you receive support.

We can support you in achieving your goals, such as becoming an active and resourceful member of your local community. We ensure a flexible support plan is tailored to your needs, whether you’re looking for a few hours a day, week or more. Together, we provide person-centred support plans focusing on your interests, priorities and skills.

Our experienced support team will assist you and will create the kind of living environment that best meets your needs as far as design, lighting and atmosphere are concerned.

People in supported living are encouraged to maximise their independence and to engage in the activities they enjoy – both indoors and outdoors. If you have particular wishes or needs, the staff will look to support you in fulfiling them.

Whatever your needs are, we’re here to help. The type of support you receive is controlled by you. From help with personal care needs and managing finances, to finding education, training, work, holidays and short break activities – you decide!

Finding the right property for you

We will carry out an assessment and discuss with you the type of support you need and the things that are important to you. A family member or a friend can also be part of this discussion. You will be encouraged to visit the home before you decide. By visiting the home, you can meet the residents who live there already so that you can get an idea of the place and the people who live there. After you have chosen your home, you will be provided with support for budgeting, shopping by a member of the support team. Our support team can also help you register with a local GP.
